BSN to honour Jerry Gana, Anglican Primate, others at Founder’s day
The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is set to honour five distinguished Nigerians with its prestigious Bible Award for Selfless Service to God and Humanity during its 16th Founder’s Day Annual Lecture on February 7, 2025.
The award recipients include:
Former Minister of Information and National Orientation, Prof. Jerry Gana
Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Most Reverend Henry Ndukuba
President of Christ Apostolic Church Nigeria and Overseas, Pastor Samuel Oladele
CEO of Tudel Global Investments Limited, Pastor Dele Adejugbe
President and Council Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Dr. Ike Neliaku
According to a statement by Mr. Benjamin Mordi, BSN’s Manager of Media and Public Relations, the conferment of the Bible Award is a highlight of the annual event.
This year’s lecture, themed “Diversification and Production: Panacea to Nigeria’s Economic Quagmire”, will feature Dr. Olufemi Awoyemi, Founder and Chairman of Proshare, as the guest speaker.
The event will be held at Adegbite Hall, ShepherdHill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, Lagos, with Mr. Tope Smart, Chairman of NEM Insurance Plc, presiding as Chairman.
Expected dignitaries include former Head of State and BSN Patron, General Dr. Yakubu Gowon, GCFR, who will serve as the Father of the Day. Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will host the event alongside other distinguished personalities.
