Grammy award-winning music star Burna Boy has shared a word of advice to those with opponents.

Taking to his Instagram story to share a photo of him smiling with his crew, he said the streets ain’t what they used to be as the old rules no longer apply. He stated that the way he sees things, everyone is a civilian now.

The ‘Like To Party’ singer added that there is no more sliding as he advised people with opponents to sue them in court and take their money.

“The streets ain’t what it used to be. The old rules no longer apply. The way I see it, Everybody is a civilian now.

No more sliding. Just sue your opps to court and take their money”.

This is coming two weeks after Burna Boy filed a petition against rapper, Speed Darlington for alleged cyberstalking. The rapper was taken to Abuja where he was detained by the IRT team. Darlington’s mother alleged that Burna Boy and his team were responsible for her son’s arrest, and begged the Grammy singer to release her son.

After spending 3 days in detention, Speed Darlington was released on bail after meeting conditions stipulated by the police at the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team’s Department in the Guzape Area of Abuja.

Last week, Burna Boy lashed out at a tweep who linked him to American rapper and businessman Diddy. The singer, who had close ties with the disgraced rapper, had tweeted that he was going to Obi’s house, and a tweep had questioned if it wasn’t Diddy’s house he was going to. Burna responded, telling him to show his face so he could easily trace his house.

Just recently, Burna Boy had bragged about being richer than many of the people he once looked up to as he reflected on his journey. He stated that he imagined growing up only politicians and oil men were the ones getting real money, followed by the G boys. He noted how music wasn’t even in the conversation when money was the topic.

Fast forward to now, he has got more money than 90% of the people he once looked up to as money makers. Using this as a motivational message, he admonished his fans never to look down on any as they could be the next Elon Musk. Compose MessageCompose MessageCompose Message

Some weeks back, he had revealed some jaw-dropping revelations about himself, revealing that the new him misses the old him. He expressed how bewildered he was that the old him couldn’t even understand the new him and thought the new him was Soft for not being so angry all the time.

Back in July, Burna Boy issued a public service announcement to Nigerians, making it known that he doesn’t use songwriters as any name people see credited on his songs are only producers of the songs or featured artists, not writers. He noted how the Western world considers producers as writers of the instrumentals, and they throw their names on there as writers. Calling himself an Odogwu, Burna made it known that nobody writes for him.
