    Popular social activist Martins Otse, widely known as Verydarkman, has spoken out following his release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

    In a viral video making rounds on social media, Verydarkman is seen seated in a car alongside his lawyer, Deji Adeyanju.

    Speaking directly to the camera, he expressed disbelief over the charges of money laundering brought against him, questioning why such accusations would be directed at someone who is not wealthy.

    “How would they level allegations of money laundering on someone who doesn’t have money? I have done so many charity, they wonder how, they don’t know I use debt for charity,” he said.

    He concluded, adding, “Anyway, we are outside, with my lawyer of course.”

    Friends and associates of popular Nigerian social media personality and influencer, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), have voiced concern over the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission’s (EFCC) refusal to allow them to provide him with food.

    Recall that VDM’s legal representative, activist-lawyer Deji Adeyanju, in a statement, alleged that VDM was arrested by EFCC operatives on Friday.

    The arrest has sparked outrage online and raised questions about a certain bank’s alleged complicity in what critics describe as a targeted crackdown.

    In a five-minute video released by Koko Pee, one of VDM’s close friends, he revealed that the EFCC denied him the opportunity to bring food to VDM, stating that the Commission would provide food themselves to him.

    “We are here at the EFCC headquarters, trying to take food and go and see VDM. The body that took the beating needs to eat,” Koko Pee said.

    A few minutes later, he released another video while returning from the EFCC headquarters, saying, “There is a standing order for no one to see him or give him food until Monday.”

    At the time of filing this report, EFCC spokesman Dele Oyewale was unavailable for comment or call. As all number attached to the EFCC social handles proved abortive.

    The Nigerian Police Force has revealed that social media personality, Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan (VDM) will appear in court today for unauthorized use of Police uniforms.

    “In response to recent developments, VDM, whose real name is Mr. Martins Otse, is set to appear in court today following allegations of impersonation related to the unauthorized use of Nigeria Police Force uniforms in a viral social media video,” the NPF wrote on X.

    The FCT Police Command added that it is actively handling the case, underscoring the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to upholding the integrity of its symbols and preventing their misuse.

    The police also encouraged interested persons to follow up on the proceedings as the case unfolds.

    Famous controversial Nigerian cross dresser Idris Okuneye better known as Bobrisky has bragged online as he reportedly faces fresh jail terms.

    Bobrisky shared cute photos of himself on his Instagram page dishing out advice to women on how they should be bold and courageous.

    Bob who claimed to be a strong woman claimed he doesn’t play the victim. He admonished others to face their battles squarely, not look pitiful and point fingers.

    “Strong women don’t play the victim. Don’t make themselves look pitiful and don’t point fingers. They stand and they deal.”

    Reactions trailing the post hailed Bobrisky’s resilience and confidence amdist the issues surrounding him.

    Kobichima wrote, “What doesn’t k!ll you, make you stronger.”

    Chalzani wrote, “Omoh nothing anybody wan tell me! I admire your resilience, you’re a fighter. I may not agree with certain aspects but I agree sey you strong ajeh”

    Days ago, the Nigeria Immigration Service confirmed the arrest of Bobrisky while trying to flee the country.

    There have also been speculations that Bob may have issued a fresh jail term if found guilty of the fresh charges against him.

    Very Dark Man, via his Instagram page, released an audio of Bobrisky, where he alleged that some unnamed EFCC officers collected N15 million from him to drop money laundering charges against him. The crossdresser alleged that a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and his son assured him of getting the charges dropped and keeping him out of Prison.

    Calling out the rapper, Very Dark Man alleged that Falz and his father, Femi Falana, were the ones behind Bobrisky’s ordeal.

    The audio got the crossdresser into trouble as the EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale vowed that the commission’s constituted team of investigators will critically look into the allegations.

    The past few days have been hot on the internet as VDM and portable goes head-on with each other with threats and everything. The issue started as a video of the singer Portable harassing and hitting a man in a public toilet circulated on the internet, this angered the activist VDM who made a video asking for the arrest of the singer as the young man was beaten up by Portable also ended up in the hospital. 

    Portable, in return, made his video threatening VDM to mind his business; a few days later, portable claimed to be in an assassination attempt made by VDM, and of course, people didn’t believe that because the singer was troublesome and could do anything.

    Recently, a video was seen circulating online of the singer Portable giving donations to the needy, this video gave many viewers mixed feelings, as there are comments like
