“Stop wearing fake shit” – Davido’s elder brother Adewale with a message for the general public

Davido’s elder brother Adewale Adeleke is issuing a stern warning to the general public, with regards to the use of fake designer items.

In his tweet, Adewale spoke about how it is unwise for people to wear fake designers because they’re easy to spot.

Adewale Adeleke’s post came without any prior prompting, which has led netizens to wonder who he was throwing shade at, or if it is just a regular PSA.

Another set of netizens were more concerned with the fact that he was talking down on people who can’t afford original designers, and they dragged him mercilessly.

bob_dave00 wrote, “E better for you no mean say e better for others sr. Fake or no fake we dai use am cover nakedness. Go ask Adam why en wear leaf when God catch am. No dai pressure us snr man.”

being_mercy wrote, “Shut your mouth Mr man. Because you have life and was born into it at the finest platter, doesn’t mean everyone does. Allow people cut their coat according to the body size.”

olanrewaju wrote, “What’s his business regarding this? Let people wear anything they want to as long as he’s not feeding them.”

abefe wrote, “Bcos ur papa get money weh u fit spend buy original no mean say people weh fit afford fake no get life na! Elenu shopoti”

larryforeman007 wrote, “Fake brands are brands in their own right. The value of a brand like Dior comes from the attention people give it. When fake brands start receiving the same level of attention, they also become significant-it’s all about perspective. Focusing too much on these things can reveal a lot about a personality. Honestly, if you’ve ever visited “Mandelas Lagos,” you’d be surprised by the quality of the fakes or imitations there, and you might
even be tempted to buy one. Don’t overthink fashion. Wear what suits you, brings you peace, and fits your budget.”

“I have always been known for daring choices with my hair” – Yvonne Jegede reacts to criticisms for going bald for a new movie role

Now, taking to her Instagram page, Yvonne shared a 15-year throwback photo of herself with a bald look, as she noted how she has always been known for daring choices with her hair. The movie star made it known that letting go of her hair wasn’t about money, but the movie demanded a transformation and the unmatchable talent of the writer/producer.

Yvonne stated that she isn’t one for champagne roles that are about looks but is drawn to riskier roles. She disclosed that she was on the phone with her manager, telling him she had to be in the movie because the story captivated her. The single mother of one went on to appreciate the public for their support.

“Fifteen years ago, I took the bold step of going completely bald. I’ve always been known for daring choices with my hair, and maybe that’s because I’m blessed with great hair. #Aja AjaTheMovie demanded a transformation – not just for the money, but because of @lopeorire (the brilliant Writer/Producer) whose talent is unmatched. I’m not one for “champagne” roles that are all about looks; the riskier, the more I’m drawn in. I was on the phone with @officialsamokatunji1 (my manager) every day, telling him I HAD to be in this film because the story captivated me.

When this movie drops on streaming platforms, expect to see me front and center! I’m immensely proud of this project – NOTHING like what’s out there. This film will spark debates, and that’s exactly why I poured everything into this role.

Thank you for all the support, and I know you’re going to love #Aja. This project is my baby – forget that Titi Orire owns it; it’s MINE.

Yvonne Jegede is every director’s dream and every producer’s delight – no stress on set, and all in for promotion”.

Yvonne isn’t the only one who has transformed for a movie role. In May, Jide Awobona called out popular film director and screenwriter Abey Jomo over his epic transformation. He revealed that he was placed on a heavy, strict diet for his character and shared a screenshot of the strict rules he was given. Questioning what he had done to him, he lamented over the rules.

Also, Bukunmi Oluwasina had proven how far she can go in interpreting her movie roles by shaving her hair and going on a diet. According to her, in her ten years of being an actor, this role was the most challenging and breathtaking role she had ever played. However, she was glad she can wear it like a dress.

“I will forever regret how I allowed them to use me against you” – Sarah Martins apologizes to May Edochie, offers her advice following emotional speech at a recent event

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has reached out to May Edochie, the estranged wife of Judy Austin, following her emotional speech in Qatar.

Kemi Filani reported that May left many women in tears as she spoke about her son’s death at the NHN Women Network Conference, in Doha, Qatar, where she had everyone emotional. May spoke on the death of her first son, Kambilichukwu, while she was going through a public divorce, which left not only her but many women, including actress Shaffy Bello, in tears.

Reacting to it in a post on her Instagram page, Sarah told May to allow Yul suffer with who he thought was better than her. She noted how May has proven to the world she was the lucky charm behind his lost glory.

Sarah admonished May to focus on her unapologetically as she noted how she is strong and made for greatness. Sarah further stated that she will forever regret how she allowed them to use her against her.

“Sis, let that man suffer with who he thought was better than you.

You’ve proven to the world you were the lucky charm behind his lost glory…

Now it’s time to focus on you unapologetically!!!
You’re a strong woman, and you’re made for greatness.

I will forever regret how I allowed them to use me against you… please forgive me”.

Sarah wasn’t the only one who reacted to the emotional video. Yul Edochie Aunty Rita Edochie noted how women are strong pillars. However, May has proved to be a shining example of resilience and strength. Rita stated that May’s determination and passion inspire her and countless others. She prayed that God would continue to be the mother of 3 strengths as she encouraged May to continue inspiring and lifting souls.

Recall that Sarah Martins and Judy Austin used to be bff goals until they fell out after Sarah publicly distanced herself from Judy and pitched a tent with May and Rita Edochie. Feeling betrayed by Sarah’s behaviour, Judy had not only unfollowed her but had taken down all posts relating to Sarah on her Instagram page. Following their fallout, Sarah accused Judy of owing her N1 million and had shared some secrets about her former friend.

Weeks after their fallout, Sarah counted her blessings as she revealed that the day she stopped entertaining the couple, she realised she had important personalities following her, leading her to make more money.

In May, Sarah had sent a message to Judy Austin about the detriment of stealing people’s husbands. She lectured the second wife of Yul Edochie that stealing people’s husbands can’t help her and made her know that it isn’t by answering Ijele Odogwu as it can’t help her.

Also in May, Sarah had lashed out at a male troll who slammed her over her support for Paul Okoye’s second marriage. The troll had called her out over her hypocrisy of supporting Paul, yet dragging Yul. Hitting back, Sarah slammed him for comparing Paul to Yul as she noted how Yul publicly ridiculed and disgarced his first wife, May.

  • “I have been in this game before you, stop trying to gatekeep Igbo culture” – KCee replies Flavour for shading him over his new song

“I have been in this game before you, stop trying to gatekeep Igbo culture” – KCee replies Flavour for shading him over his new song

Nigerian singer Kingsley Okonkwo, better known as KCee, has replied to his colleague, Harrysong, for shading him over his new music.

Kemi Filani reported some days back that Flavour had thrown shade at KCee. He shared an angry post calling out KCee for copying him. Though he didn’t mention his name, it was obvious, he was referring to him.

One social media user, identified as Maria Use Nwachi, alleged that Flavour wasn’t happy with KCee and his elder brother, E-Money, because they did something a bit desperate. He revealed that Flavour and Phyno did a song with Theresa Onuoha, and immediately, KCee learned of it; he allegedly went to do a song with her and scheduled a date of release before that of Phyno and Flavour.

Another had claimed that KCee was fond of sampling Flavour’s song.

Now replying to him on Monday night, KCee told the singer to stop trying to gatekeep Igbo culture as he isn’t a custodian. KCee noted how he has been in the game before him and it belongs to everyone. He reminded Flavour that he doesn’t owe any genre of music as he made him know that his music celebrates his heritage.

“I’ve never been the type to go head to head, but I’m calling out this bullshit because I won’t be disrespected…

No way… I’ve come too far for anyone to downplay my sweats and hard work

    HELL NO!!!!”.

“Stop trying to gatekeep Igbo culture. You’re not a Custodian.
I’ve been in this game before you
    It belongs to all.
You don’t own this genre of music.
My music celebrates our heritage, and I won’t apologize.
In an ocean of things that matter. You’re like a needle.

    Get that right”.

“BRO!!!!!! We are not on the same level

    Pick your Battles carefully”.

This isn’t the first time KCee has been accused of copying people’s music. Early this year, a fan of Olamide’s record label, YBNL had called out KCee for sampling Olamide and Asake’s “Amapiano” in his song. The fan noted how Olamide had always been elevating Igbo artists as she bragged about his extraordinary influence on them.
