Wizkid and Davido embody two great unique legacy. Perhaps, starting along and bonding at the early phase of their career, they still clashed to their indifference, making it quite compelling to their fate.
Everything slided positively in 2010 as the two kicked in with their friendship. The exact year of their initial friendship can’t be accurately explored but they were spotted overly close in the mid 2010s. This bond would grow effortlessly until fame clocked in. Even as Wizkid blew up, Davido was still bonded to their friendship, linking in at all dimension. However, this affectionate bond would crash for a first taste.
Close friends would suddenly turn enemies after comparison and competition blew in, resulting in their first fued. While it’s unclear to what might have sparked their early feud, Davido and Wizkid distanced themselves from each other which would eventually hit its peak in 2017 when Wizkid officially identified him as a “Frog Voice” on Twitter (Now called X).
Davido took charge at it, often throwing shades at Wizkid on several tweets. Astonishingly, the fued would quench for the first time in 2018 after the two settled their differences. According to Davido, it’s nothing but a flair to realising that they needed to bond and respond to the nature of aging. This resulted in them performing at their various tours in 2018.
Not long after reconciling, Wizkid sparked a fresh feud after snubbing Davido, who reposted his “Made In Lagos” album on his social media platforms in 2020. At first glance, it didn’t take deep toll on Davido until he admitted an interview with Ebuka Uchendu where he cleared his thought, revealing that he had no serious hack at Wizkid’s constant feud with him.
The heat would quench in 2022 after Wizkid showed a massive respect to Davido who lost his son Ifeanyi Adeleke to drowning. So far, he had snubbed every jab thrown at him, while focusing more on promoting his incoming album “5ive”
Olamide and Don Jazzy
Even though Olamide and Don Jazzy has squashed their dispute, the two Afrobeat moguls once dinner through their nerves. This transpired earlier in 2016, during the 2015 Headies award.
The two stars ran two record label respectively, with Olamide bagging stars like Adekunle Gold and Lil Kesh on his YBNL record label while Don Jazzy dominated the music firm with the likes of Reekado Banks signed to his record label Mavin.
Lil Kesh and Reekado Banks were nominated in the same category “Next Rated Artist”. Reekado Banks would emerge victorious which didn’t slide positively in the nerves of Olamide who took the microphone and expressed himself.
According to him, Lil Kesh deserved the plaque following the view of his dominance for the year. He expressed further tantrum, shading the organization and slammed the microphone on the stage, exiting the scene.
Don Jazzy who was aggrieved by his action embraced the stage and urged him to come claim the prize if he believe the event wasn’t fair. He even vowed to handle the car prize that came with the plaque.

The two stars announced their reconciliation on their social media platforms, embracing love and peace. To date, Olamide and Don Jazzy share a good relationship, making their dispute a thing of the past.
Burna Boy and Davido
As astonishing as it is, Davido and Burna Boy suddenly sparked a heated feud which would escalate to a precarious view.
In 2020, in what may have seemed to be an internal dispute, Burna Boy ridiculed Davido’s incoming album announcing that he can’t wait to make mockery of him.
This breached to the point where Davido clapped back. Sharing a photograph of him and Wizkid, Davido captioned it the two greatest of all time, stripping Burna Boy of his self acclaimed space.
The “Ye” crooner didn’t hesitate to respond, attributing Davido’s influence to his father’s wealth, while declaring that he is not talented but is coated and sponsored by his father.
The following week Davido released a diss song “FEM” aimed at Burna Boy. The diss song amassed peaks to the phase where #EndSars Protesters made it their theme song. In the diss song, Davido shunned Burna Boy, expressing deeply why he should be scared of him. The heated punch lines directed at him on the song pissed him off, resulting further online altercation, including having to fight each other in Ghana.
To date, Burna Boy and Davido still embody grudges over their fued still termed active. The two are often linked to shading each other at any given glare of chance.
